BLACK DEATH by Sammy Harkham

What Things Do just put up the final installment of Black Death by Sammy Harkham. Like most of his work, it's beautiful, violent, and compelling. I'd recommend checking out the site for more of his comics and lots of other great series. I'm glad sites like this exist.

Sunday Morning

Sick all week. Weekend made better by Irish oatmeal and our cat (who is also sick), not to mention my very patient girlfriend.

Where do you go?

Sometimes I really enjoy using Foursquare, and sometimes I think I'm spending too much time tracking my whereabouts in the city.
In the end, I think what makes the program fun and useful for me is the living record it provides of the past few months that I've seriously participated in the "game". Sites like Where Do You Go make really cool use of Foursquare's API to show me where I've spent my time in the city.

Resolutions 2010

For the public record, my resolutions this year:

• Volunteer (looking for timeslots at Housing Works Books)
• Get better at handling stress
• Post to this blog more often
• Finally learn CSS
• Finally brush up on my Spanish
• Continue commuting by bike

• Get into grad school

I'll see how well I did next January.
