The Monkey Trails

I was late in giving Bing Maps a try - like its search, I didn't see much difference in quality compared to Google. One thing I really enjoy, however, is their bird's eye view mode. It offers perspective and image quality that really stands out from satellite images.

Using it, I found the old monkey trails in Elmhurst. These were 'hidden' bmx trails, accessible from a hole in the fence near the Prairie Path (which I've highlighted in yellow). In my childhood, this network of trails, maintained by teenagers who like off-roading on their bikes, was mysterious and off-limits. Seeing it mapped so clearly is both exhilarating and disappointing.

Remind Me

I want to post more, but for now this will do.
Directed by the French motion graphics studio H5. It features a day in the life of a woman working in the London's Square Mile solely through infographics; this includes labelled close-ups of everyday objects, product lifecycles, schematic diagrams, charts, and is generally illustrated in a simple isometric visual style.
