The Great Pyramid

Yes, it feels weird to face the unescapable fact that we will die. Yes, having made a stone reservation will make death not any more pleasant. Yes, there is probably no urgent need to care about your potential grave or memorial. But yes: We all miss people who are not with us anymore and we too will be gone one day - all of us.
A group of architects were trying to think of something that would bring new economic growth and tourism to East Germany. Their solution: a pyramid in which any person may be entombed. A democratic pyramid whose shape and size would be determined by the number of people who chose to participate.
It's ridiculous and I love it. The project put a book out this fall and I would venture to say that this is going somewhere, eventually at least.
Reserve your stone here.
