Janitor Lamp

So you have to climb the ladder to turn the light on or off, making you think about whether you really need to use that electricity at all.

It reminds me of the Gravia, the lamp concept where you'd lift a heavy weight above your head, the energy used powering the light for a certain amount of time. I think their math was wrong and it won't actually work, but I love the idea.

Inconveniencing people who want to turn a light on might not really change the world but at least these concepts get you thinking.
