Literary Maps


 I couldn't agree more with this...
Maps were my protonovels. I was reading Tolkien, and it was the maps as much as the text that floated my boat. - David Mitchell
When you read Lord of the Rings, how often did you flip back to the map? It was as least once a chapter for me.
