Supposed to be researching the history of Japanese housing, but it ends up just being robots again.

robots

Honda's showcase robot ASIMO will conduct the Detroit Symphony Orchestra with Yo Yo Ma, performing the piece "Impossible Dream" on May 13.

In other robot news, Gakutensoku, Asia's oldest modern robot, was just restored in Osaka. It was built in 1928 for the Showa Emperor. The video demonstrates all its capabilities, from looking around to...looking around with a smile on his face. Really creepy, especially around the 1 minute marker in the video.

PETA supports cloned meat

Would you eat meat grown in a lab?

All I can see is some big pulsating slab of meat occupying some warehouse, scientists in white coats all just cutting off slices for their sandwiches and such.

On the other hand, it is a more efficient way to get meat, and no one gets hurt. Aside from the creepiness factor, it should work pretty well.
